The process of art is its most profound aspect.  It is said that Dorothy Parker hated writing but loved having written.  For Carol, the act of painting is as wonderful as the resultant painting. Carol has been described as a colorist. She often paints plein aire—often western scenes in an impressionistic manner. She also paints expressionistic abstracts.  Color and texture are very prevalent.

Her motto is, “Paint what you love.”
