The process of art is its most profound aspect. It is said that Dorothy Parker hated writing but loved having written. For me, the act of painting is as wonderful as the resultant painting. After beginning with the wonderful spontaneity of watercolor, oil painting seems like a dessert.

Carol has been described as a colorist, and her recent paintings have a brilliant fauvist feel. Each year, she has studied with some of the nation's best painters including Joyce Pike, Kim English, Teresa Vito and Quang Ho's master class at the Denver Art Student's League. She is currently studying with Dale Chisman.
