Vanish Installation: Getting there!

Here are two more photos of Leigh Cabell, Paul Pelegrin and James Garnett during the installation of Cabell's "Vanish" work.  It's beginning to look more and more like a field of grasses on our eastern Colorado plains!  Stop in on Fridays if you'd like to visit with Leigh about her latest project.

Jan. 30 - Feb. 25, 2018: Guest Artist Mark Lesser at AoSF Gallery

Next up at Artists on Santa Fe Gallery + Studios is the work of abstract oil painter, Mark Lesser.  "Wall Whispering, Morroco" includes paintings inspired by Lesser's time spent in 2017 participating in an artist residency program, Green Olive Arts, in Tetouan, Morocco.  The ancient Medina walls, covered with scratches, graffiti, and layers of color are the inspiration for this body of work.  Save a date in February to enjoy Lesser's exhibition and meet the artist on 1st and 3rd Friday evenings' events!  See examples of his paintings at www.marklesserart.com.

January Exhibition: "Vanish" - Leigh Cabell

We have something fun for you to follow at AoSF Gallery this month.  Leigh Cabell, gallery member and environmental artist, will install a 3-D construction made from unorthodox art materials and found objects. Leigh will create this intricate piece in the gallery every Friday afternoon and on 1st and 3rd Friday evenings during the month (and maybe beyond?) until she's finished.  Stop in to see Leigh's unique process and progress, along with many of her other fascinating works.
