Creativity has been important to me since I was a young girl. I recall finding sticks, rocks, and leaves as a child and using them to create pictures and crafting various items from nearly nothing. As a jeweler I am able to hand select the stones I work with from reputable lapidary artists. I am inspired by the stones shape and color, not to mention the cold turning warm as I hold the stone. As I am creating a wearable piece of jewelry, I explore various textures, techniques and the possibility of complementary stones. All of my pieces are hand fabricated, starting with a sheet of sterling silver or gold, to be cut, soldered, textured and polished to last a lifetime.
