Denver, CO— Artists on Santa Fe at 747 Santa Fe Drive welcomes guest artist Jeannie Paty for an exhibition of new paintings entitled “Sun-Drenched Color in Bloom: Abstracted Florals & Botanicals — The Essence of Place,” running March 20 – April 12, 2026. Inspired by travel, gardens, and the cooling blues of water, these luminous works translate “color memories”—sun on petals, reflected light, and the feeling of exploration—into layered, expressive abstraction. The public is invited to an opening reception on March 20, 5-8 p.m., during Third Friday at the Art District on Santa Fe, the First Friday Art Walk on April 3, 6–9 p.m., and to view the show during regular gallery hours.

Paty is excited to showcase her recent pieces from a concentrated period of studio work giving the show a strong thread of energy and cohesion. Rather than focusing on one location, she invites the viewer into the bright, floral, and emotionally resonant colors that conger a sense of aliveness, connection, and possibility. This collection offers a chance to slow down, look closely, and experience color as a mood and a place.

As she explains, “Each painting begins as a color memory—sunlight on petals, the cooling blue of water, and the feeling of being fully awake in a place—and becomes an abstracted floral that’s more about essence than description.”

Paty earned her bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the Arizona State University College of Architecture. She has worked in design, marketing and other art-related positions, but her personal art practice remains her true calling. She has been featured in Southwest Art magazine and The PEO Record international magazine. Her work has been exhibited in national juried and invitational shows across the U.S. as well as Japan and is in public and private collections such as the Kaufman Financial Group, Porter Adventist Hospital and Kaiser Permanente.
